About

As a third-generation Filipino American game designer and writer, I started with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons at the age of 9 and have been in love with the hobby since. My passion for game design and storytelling led me to homebrew several mechanics and systems that I would share with my friends and family.

Some of these mechanics are on display on Happy Jack’s RPG show Dying Embers and Barky’s Brigade on Saving Throw. Since then I’ve worked with other brilliant designers to create the campaign for Disney/Pixar’s first tabletop RPG “Quests of Yore: Barley’s Edition”. I’ve also had the pleasure of working on Kids on Brooms from Renegade Games, Altered Carbon from Hunter’s Entertainment, the Wondrous One-Shots from Dungeon in a Box, and many more.

Below are a few kind words previous clients and coworkers had to say

“It’s easily the best campaign I’ve seen in a starter set…” - Charlie Hall, Polygon

“Jameson's adventure writing is a perfect blend of story, mechanics, and agency for players. He's professional and works well with both creatives, and brands." - Ivan Van Norman, Hunter’s Entertainment and Darrington Press

Jameson is one of the most creative and inventive writer's I've ever worked with. His ability to conjure evocative characters and locations out of thin air is not just impressive... it's magical." - David Crennen, Dungeon in a Box.

“Jameson is an excellent RPG designer. He has a deep understanding of what elements make a tabletop RPG successful and seamlessly incorporates those components into his creations.” - Kimi Hughes, Golden Lasso Games

“Jameson is reliable and creative, two things that are often in short supply. He's always going the extra mile to achieve goals, and the results are always impressive!" - Dom Zook, Saving Throw
